UPDATE: Two juveniles arrested for auto burglary and theft charges

Auburn, Ala. - On May 31, 2024, Auburn Police arrested Kevin James Walker, age 18, from Auburn, AL, on warrants charging him with two counts of unlawful breaking and entering into a motor vehicle and two counts of theft of property second degree.
During the investigation that followed the initial arrests on May 28, 2024, Kevin James Walker was developed as a suspect. Arrests warrants were obtained, and Walker was arrested in obedience to the warrants on May 31.
Walker was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $12,000 bond.

Auburn, Ala. - On May 28, 2024, Auburn Police, arrested a 16-year-old juvenile and a 15-year-old juvenile, both from Auburn, AL, on felony juvenile complaints charging each with two counts of theft of property second degree and two counts of unlawful breaking and entering into a vehicle.
The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving multiple auto burglary reports on May 28. Officers met with multiple victims who reported that unknown suspects made unlawful entry into their vehicles and stole property. The vehicle burglaries occurred overnight between May 27 and May 28 in the 1100 block of South College Street and the 4300 block of Golf Club Drive.
A 16-year-old juvenile and a 15-year-old juvenile were developed as suspects. Officers located the juveniles on May 28, and after further investigation, both were arrested and charged.
Both juveniles were transported to the Lee County Youth Development Center to be held pending further judicial review.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
